Kaleigh and Marcus's Honeymoon in France and England

 "Hi Shannon!

Sorry it took me forever to get back with you - we're both still trying to catch up with our jobs and with all of the paperwork involved in the wedding. What a year it's been!

The hotels you picked out for us were nothing short of amazing! Tiara Miramar felt truly luxurious, from the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby, to the amazing room service, to the opulent room decor. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and comfortable - definitely a perfect spot for a honeymoon! The Citadines apart-hotels in Paris and London had a cozy, hostel-like vibe, which made them perfect "home bases" for exploring. I particularly loved the TV room/printer access/lending library in the London hotel - we ended up printing most of our West End tickets (we saw Harry Potter, The Book of Mormon, and An American in Paris - all excellent - plus a surprisingly colorful production of Twelfth Night at the Globe), since not all the theatres accepted electronic copies, and made a few friends in the lobby, too. The espresso machines in both of the apart-hotels were perfect for when we wanted to get going early without needing to make an extra coffee shop. Staying right next to Trafalgar Square made it perfectly convenient to walk to the majority of our destinations, so we actually didn't end up missing the Oyster Cards (until we finally found them, and were very grateful to get out of the rain on a few trips).

I'm also really glad you convinced us to get a rental car for our week in France, too. Driving up and down the gorgoeus coastline was one of the highlights of our trip! Moreover, the weather was chilly and rainy for most of our week in France, which significantly complicated my plan to spend the week sunbathing at the poolside. Instead, we visited Chateau Grimaldi, the Renoir Museum, and the Polygone Riviera, as well as numerous restaurants and boulangeries in Theoule and Nice (which made me glad that it rained!). One restaurant we fell in love with in particular was Aux Ingredients in Theoule - the food was creative, light but filling, and delicious! Everyone we met in Theoule was friendly and welcoming, but the staff at Aux Ingredients were some of the most personable.

I could probably go on for days about all the other things we saw and did - I'm finally back on day shift at work, so give me a ring if you have any other questions about how it went. We loved working with you and were so grateful for your instantaneous assistance when we lost track of the folder! We'll definitely be leaving you some reviews, and look forward to planning our next trip with you... we're thinking about a one-year-anniversary cruise to Spain/Italy/more of the Med :)
